Our ultimate goal among many others is to eliminate all form of barriers existing in the Nigeria education system; and create a working system which will in turn correct the anomalies emanating from the engagement of untrained tutors and wrong approaches to teaching and learning which have been destroying the colourful future of the learners at the expense of their parents. In 2020, Olugbenga Funminiyi "Senior" established Laurels Tutor to serve the growing demand from parents he engaged their children in private teaching. Every parent wanted him to teach their children which he could not handle alone. There he thought of means to satisfy his clients by offering top-notch teaching modules matching up with standard practice in developed countries of the world. And with the aid of his creativity and technology, Laurels Tutor is a one-stop place for all educational needs and services. As the President, and CEO of Laurels Tutor, Olugbenga commits the company to satisfy its mission of "the student-centered learning space" - by not only creating success as their DNA but also helping them grow in all spheres of life. Before Laurels, Olugbenga served many schools in various capacities (consultant, administrator, teacher e.t.c). Among the schools he has worked at are Vikky International School, Ogun State, The Lamp International School, and Emmycord School. Also, being a graduate of Banking and Finance, he worked as a marketing executive with both Access Bank Plc and Fidelity Bank. Olugbenga holds a degree in Banking & Finance from The Polytechnic Ibadan, and presently pursuing a PGD in Education. He is happily married to Arobieke Funmilayo and they are both blessed with three kids- The PET (Priscilla, Evidence, Tryphena).

Olubunmi Oladele Famodun (Mrs.) is a Chartered Accountant, MBA holder in financial management, and a second-class upper degree from Babcock University. Olubunmi is an entrepreneur and also a practicing accountant. Being the Chief Financial Officer of Laurels Tutor, Olubunmi’s goal is to help drive the financial performance of Laurels Tutor. Olubunmi has over 15 years of experience in the food and beverages sector. She has a proven ability to help build organizations, and her impressive track makes her a fit for Laurels Tutor and will aid the company’s growth. Olubunmi is happily married with children.

President, Learning Services
As President of Learning Services, Benjamin Daramola's goal is to drive the extension and incorporation of Laurel’s independent student offerings nationwide. He oversees Laurel’s learning services and career skills. Benjamin has dedicated his career to putting students first and representing their interests. His keen interest in technology and education, coupled with his passion, aids the way for Laurels becoming one of the most populous educators in Nigeria. Benjamin has served in various capacities in some schools before joining Laurels Tutor. He is a product of many pieces of training and exposures.
President, Business Information Technology
Gbenga Ogunmoroti is a seasoned Tech Entrepreneur of great value. As a graduate of Computer Science from the prestigious Lagos State University, he has bagged many IT professional certifications.
He has trained, mentored over one thousand and two hundred people in various ICT trainings with over two decades of field and classroom career.
With his wealth of professional experience, he has help many businesses in different capacity to grow and maximize profit through technological solutions.
Chief Communications Officer
Opeseitan Joseph Tunde is Laurel’s Chief Communications Officer, leading internal and external communications efforts for Laurels Tutor. Tunde’s passion for Laurel’s mission is instrumental to where the company is today. Opeseitan Joseph Tunde is a media practitioner with a lot of exposure. Before joining Laurel’s Tutor, he had worked in various capacities with some media houses such as Osun Mail (though now defunct), Daily Independent Newspaper, and Press Officer in the office of the Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor (between 2015-2019) and many more. Tunde has his HND in Public Administration from The Polytechnic Ibadan, PGD in Public Relations and advertising from Nigerian Institute of Journalism Ogba, and is on course with his MBA. Tunde is deeply passionate about his family and community.
